Invest now in Indian children and families by joining the National Indian Head Start Directors Association.   Your membership is needed and will help support NIHSDA’s efforts to influence new and revised federal regulations resulting from the passage of the Improving Head Start for School Readiness Act of 2007.

Through a united effort we can affect the new and revised standards and make them more appropriate for “Indian Country.”  United, we can bring about positive growth and program changes for Indian children and their families.

NIHSDA’s goal of 100% membership of all Indian Head Start and Early Head Start programs for the 2009/2010 membership year can be reached.  We need 100% involvement for increasing our power and influence.
